secrets to success: Mustang 2 front suspension, its really nice with no shock towers, plus it drives, stops, and handles great. It has a 351W bored to a 357. Comp Cams .518/.518, Edelrock RPM airgap, holley 650 double pumper, ported factory 69 heads with roller rockers, 2 1/4" exhaust, built C4 with a 3500 stall, and 3.89 true trac 9 inch rear end, and M/T street radials in back. Oh yeah, and I have an airplane propeller of an electric fan off of a Cummins diesel to keep it cool. This is a street car. I have never trailered this car to the track.
Raced: The best it has ran is 12.62 @ 105. It does 7.90s in the 1/8th, and has 60ft times in the 1.60-1.65 range. It is really strong off the line, I just need more top end. Ford racing X304 heads are on the way.

secrets to success: First time I installed a built 94 351w roller motor w/ Z303 roller cam,JE forged 10:1, ARP everything, Stealth intake, T5 5-speed, Automotive Specialties headers, 3.40 gears, 8in trac-loc.It ran mid 13's in the quarter with serious traction problems

I then added a 9psi Powerdyne, the car ran 12.20 on 235-60 street tires, it would just blow the tires away on the launch.I had to wait till after the 60-foot to stand on it.

The latest change is I replaced the 351 with a 408 stroker,13:1 JE pistons, Eagle internals, Trick Flow heads, Powerglide trans, 9in 4.56 gears, 28x10 slicks. The car ran a 11.08 quarter at 130 mph first try, I can't launch on the trans-brake until I upgrade my 28 spline axles and add wheelie bars. It grabs some serious air even just foot-brake baby launching.
Raced: It is almost too powerfull, keeping the nose on the ground is a real challange. Can't wait till I get some better axles and wheelie bars so I can launch it at full power.
