Comments: I saw your models at the Midlands Model Engineers Exhibition while very much under the influence of a nasty bug. I have now got properly back up to speed - finished reading your three books and nearly finished assembling my first ever model steam engine. Many thanks for the inspirational kick in the direction of something real to do, as retirement approaches. Puffing devil model is next!

Best wishes

Malcolm

Comments: I visited Science Museum in London last summer and your web site greatly helped me understand how Watt's Lap Engine works. Thank you. I have one question. Why is this engine called "Lap" engine? What does "lap" mean in this case? I would be very happy if you could reply to me.
